In our hearts we keep the university

Rector's parting words, awarding the best students and a touching waltz – the last bell rang for 756 graduates at BrSU, including 96 foreign citizens.

At the ceremony "On the way to professional heights we keep the university in our hearts" the honorary right to raise the national flag of the Republic of Belarus to the sound of the national anthem was awarded to Tatiana Ignatyuk, a graduate of the Department of History, the winner of the Belarusian Student Legal Olympiad 2020, and Nikita Horovets, a graduate of the Department of Law, the winner of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for social support of gifted students and pupils.

Rector Anna Sender made a farewell speech. "Today the farewell bell sums up the results of your studies at the university, very soon you will receive diplomas of higher education. Keep in your hearts love for the university, the friendships made during your student years, remember that you are always welcome at the faculties. I wish you health, happiness, good luck, success in passing state exams and labor, to be devoted to your chosen professions and your country."

Every year students of our university achieve great heights in science, creativity and sports, so an important moment of the celebration is awarding the graduates with letters of commendation and gratitude of the rector.

The students made a speech in response. Anastasia Nichiporuk, a graduate of the Department of Social Pedagogy, and Batyr Ataev, a graduate of the Department of Foreign Languages, said that they learned to love science, cherish knowledge, open new horizons in creativity, volunteer work, be responsible, independent and responsive, found true friends at the university. Batyr Atayev, as a representative of foreign students, expressed gratitude to the university administration and teachers for supporting foreign students, for the fact that thousands of kilometers away from their native land, they feel at home at BrSU, and their parents feel comfortable for their children. The guys promised to realize themselves in their chosen professions in order to glorify their favorite university and our country.

Natalia Solyshko, mother of Sofia Udovenko, a graduate of the Department of Physics and Mathematics, addressed a word of gratitude to the university administration and teachers. "Dear teachers, you generously shared the warmth of your hearts and professional experience with our children, taught them to think correctly, to see the world in all its forms. Thank you for your care."

The concert program, prepared by student club activists, gave the students an opportunity to express their gratitude for the teachers' professionalism and wisdom through their creativity. The graduation ceremony concluded with a waltz performed by the graduates and a farewell bell.

BrSU graduates optimistically open a new page in their lives and hope that they will have happy years ahead. Taking their first steps into the profession, they will remember the university with warmth and love.
