On April 28, Brest State A. S. Pushkin University organized a meeting of foreign students with representatives of the regional administration and departments of Lenin and Moscow districts for Citizenship and Migration.

In the dialogue with students from Turkmenistan Vadim V. Rovensky (the Deputy Head of the Department of Citizenship and Migration) outlined the most pressing problems for foreigners (requirements of migration laws, employment opportunities, consequences for violations of law and order, etc.) and answered all the questions of the students. The speeches of Alexander M. Protasevich (the Head of the Office for Citizenship and Migration in Lenin District Administration) and Dmitry T. Lyganovsky (the Head of the Office for Citizenship and Migration in Moscow District Administration) were devoted to the description of the interaction of their departments with the university on issues related to foreign students. The heads gave examples of the most common offenses among foreign nationals, reminded of the importance of compliance with the laws of the Republic of Belarus, the internal regulations for students at the university and the rules of living in the dormitories. The guests of this meeting addressed the students with the request to remember that they are the face of their state, their behaviour and attitude towards studies shows the upbringing that their parents have given them.

As a result of the confidential meeting, the international students addressed various requests and questions to the representatives of law enforcement agencies individually.
