What was discussed at the First International Scientific and Practical Conference "Psychological Health in the context of personality development"

On February 12, the Department of Psychology organized and held the First International Scientific and Practical Conference "Psychological Health in the context of personality development." The event, which was held in a full-time and part-time format, brought together 150 participants from Belarus, Russia, China and Kazakhstan.

The participants discussed topical issues of scientific study and practical preservation of psychological health. The reports touched upon the issues of socio-psychological risks of socialization (Elena Pavlovna Belinskaya, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow), psychosomatic disorders in children (Irina Evgenievna Valitova, BrSU), the content of life values among students with different levels of emotional intelligence (Irina Nikolaevna Andreeva, Efrosinia Polotskaya PSU, Polotsk), student's psychological well-being in a hybrid environment (Margarita Lvovna Shapovalova, PSU, Pyatigorsk), teaching students flexible skills in university education (Gleb Vladimirovich Lagonda, IRO, Brest), opportunities cognitive neuroscience in the preservation of intellectual productivity and cognitive well-being (Olga Vladimirovna Shcherbakova, HSE Center for Research on Intelligence and Cognitive Well-being, Moscow), psychological health as an indicator of personal maturity (Lyudmila Vladimirovna Marishchuk, RSGU, Minsk), peculiarities of memory functioning in adults in different conditions of cognitive activity (Elena Ivanovna Medvedskaya, BrSU).

In the afternoon, the conference participants presented and discussed reports on the sections "General and special problems of studying psychological health", "Problems of personality development in ontogenesis", "Psychological conditions for the development of subjects of education", "Clinical aspects of mental and psychological health", "Personal health and safety in the context of digitalization".

Within the framework of the scientific and practical conference, master classes were held for students and teaching staff of educational institutions on the topic "Designing psychological assistance programs for children with emotional disorders: a cognitive behavioral approach", "System of conscious transformation: self-worth as a condition for self-acceptance", "System of conscious transformation: from fear to development", "Toxic relationships: features and areas of work".

A collection of materials is planned to be published following the conference.
