The Olympic license of the student of Brest State A. S. Pushkin University

On April 29 and 30, 2021 Brest hosted an international tournament in track and field throwing in memory of the honored coach of the USSR Evgeny M. Shukevich, one of the organizers is Brest State A. S. Pushkin University. The tournament is included in the calendar of the European Athletics Federation (International Throwing Competition Y. Shukevich Prizes) and provides an opportunity, if you meet the standards, to win a license to participate in the XXXII Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan) in 2021.

  

On the first day of the competition Alexey Kotkovets, a third-year student of the Department of Physical Education of Brest State A. S. Pushkin University, in his first attempt threw a javelin at 85.10 meters, meeting the qualifying standard for participation in the Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan).

We congratulate Alexey and wish him to win the Olympics!
