The international scientific and practical conference "The Art of Speech in the dialogue of Cultures" was held at BrSU
On March 3, the Faculty of Philology hosted the traditional international scientific and practical conference "The Art of Speech in the Dialogue of Cultures." This year, the forum was held in a mixed format. More than 100 representatives of the scientific community announced their remote, correspondence and face-to-face participation. The international status of the conference was confirmed by reports from scientists from Belarus, Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Georgia.
The forum was opened by the work of the remote reports section. Professors of Smolensk State University, Doctors of Philology Irina Viktorovna Romanova and Larisa Viktorovna Pavlova made a presentation on "Russian poetry about God's conversation with Gagarin." The speakers traced the evolution of the image of the first cosmonaut in Russian poetry of the 21st century. Based on the analysis of a number of poems that make up a polylogue, the authors of the report established the vectors of rethinking the famous thesis of anti-religious propaganda: "Gagarin flew into space, he did not see God."
Irina Stepanovna Skoropanova, Professor of the Department of Russian Literature at Belarusian State University, Doctor of Philology, Professor, traced the nature of the continuity of the famous novel in poetry by A.S. Pushkin with the works of the XIX–XXI centuries. The author convincingly proved that the Pushkin text is filled with new vital material in the works of the XIX–XXI centuries, is modernized in accordance with the literary trend or trend, how the classic genre is being updated in general.
Olga Alekseevna Scriabina, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Teaching Methods at Ryazan State University named after S.A. Yesenin, made a presentation on the text as a poet's message to the reader. The speaker emphasized the leading role of the text and the student's communication with it in creating methodological conditions in which national, cultural and civic identification of a person is carried out.

After the break, the work of the forum continued in correspondence and face-to-face formats.
