On the Day of the Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, a teleconference was held between Brest State A.S.Pushkin University and I. Kant BFU

Brest State A.S.Pushkin University and I. Kant Baltic Federal University (Kaliningrad, Russia) held a teleconference. It is symbolic that it took place on the Day of the Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia. Evgenia Yurievna Zanko, Head of the Department for Ideological and Educational Work, Irina Vasilyevna Priymak, a leading specialist in the Department of International Relations, as well as students of the Faculty of History, participated in the teleconference from our university. The second party was represented by Alice Igorevna Krasnova, Acting Director of the Department of Youth Policy. The participants congratulated each other on the holiday and began discussing the announced agenda.

The purpose of the teleconference is to develop international mobility and strengthen interregional ties between universities. BFU has initiated the creation of a project that will become an accessible mechanism for cultural exchange and exchange of experience in the field of civic and patriotic education. It is assumed that students from the initiator university will visit our university, and our students will visit the BFU. During the several-day visits, young people will get acquainted with educational institutions, regions and national peculiarities of the countries, as well as participate in round tables, key events and engage in project activities.

The dialogue highlights the difficulty of virtual communication, as different messengers are preferred in both countries. Possible variants of the cultural program were discussed. Evgenia Yurievna proposed that Kaliningrad students come to Brest in the second half of September, because during this period we will hold a large-scale celebration, the Republican Student Days.
