Belarus and Italy: Cooperation of Volunteers

From November 29 to December 11, 2012, Tatsiana V. Sokolova - PhD student of the Department of Pedagogics, Head of the University Club of Volunteers “Voluntary work Academy” - took active part in the International Voluntary Movement in Rovigo (Italy). She attended training courses on clown therapy, learned about the process of organization of youth voluntary work in various Italian associations and took the floor during the National Congress, held by the Italian Charity Fund “Let's help them live”.

Tatsiana V. Sokolova made a speech on “Specific character of organization of voluntary work for future specialists in the sphere of social and humanitarian sciences”, dwelled on the experience and prospects for development of University voluntary movement and received a proposal of cooperation between Belarusian and Italian volunteers with the support of the Italian Fund “Let's help them live”.
