The art fest "Unique Culture of China" became the first event in the upcoming Chinese New Year
On January 29, Brest State A.S.Pushkin University celebrated the Chinese New Year with the Unique Culture of China art fest. It was organized by the Dialogue of Cultures club association and the Confucius Institute. The prologue to the creative program was the workshop "New Year Extravaganza", held by the national creative workshop of fine and decorative arts "Armband" and the Confucius Institute.
Fang Shengliang, Director of the Confucius Institute from the Chinese side, greeted the audience and noted that he was glad to share this important holiday in Chinese culture with Belarusian partners and friends. Rector of BrSU Yury Petrovich Holubeu congratulated the Chinese citizens on the new year and expressed gratitude to his colleagues for fruitful cooperation in the development of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation. Zinaida Stepanovna Levchuk, head of the Dialogue of Cultures Club, spoke about the role of cultural integration in the modern world.
The celebration of hope was filled with creativity and knowledge. Hu Senbo presented the presentation "New Year traditions of the peoples of China", Yu Jianqian, Li Kuoyuan, Meng Guangman and Zhang Shini sang a song in Chinese about the celebration of the New Year in Beijing, Angelina Samosyuk presented the song "Kutochak of Belarus" to everyone, the song "Flower Paradise" was performed by Zhao Nina and Ma Ruyi, Zhu Yun and the little athletes demonstrated a demonstration performance of "Wushu Culture". An amazing gift for everyone present was the participation in the celebration of Hwang Jong Hwa. The highlights of the event are congratulations and games from Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden, and the Snow Maiden's dance with everyone. As a symbol of the strengthening of Belarusian-Chinese relations, the final of the creative program featured the song "We are Together" from the Steps folk vocal studio.
At the end of the celebration, all participants were presented with gifts. A pleasant surprise was the tasting of the national dish of Belarusian cuisine – draniki.
