International Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Monitoring and Environmental Protection”

On March 12, 2020 at the Department of Biology the student scientific and practical conference “Monitoring and environmental protection”, organized by the Chair of Botany and Ecology, was held. The conference was attended by students from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Serbia.

The plenary meeting was held in the Winter Garden of the Centre  for Ecology of the Brest State A. S. Pushkin University, which is one of the Seven Wonders of Brest.

The participants were welcomed by the Dean of the Department of Biology Andrey Domas, who wished the participants fruitful work, constructive debates and exchange of scientific experience.

The presentations focused on monitoring of natural ecosystems and urban areas, plant and animal ecology, agroecology and bioindication. All presentations were the results of original scientific research.

The conference materials have been prepared for the beginning of the conference.
