“Students’ Spring 2013”: University Contest of Vocalists “Kvinta 2013”

On March 28, 2013, University contest of vocalists “Kvinta 2013” took place in the assembly hall of the University.

The contest which was called this year “Spring dripping” consisted of 16 performances of the contestants who sang songs of different genres. All the performances turned out to be brilliant and unforgettable and the jury had a hard time choosing the winner.

According to the contest results Natalya Slutskaya (Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogics) took 3^rd place; Suleyman Garayev (Faculty of Law) was 2^nd while Irina Zamulko (Faculty of History) was announced winner of the contest. It must be noted that this year the jury-choice prize was given to Vyacheslav Gavrilyuk (Faculty of History). Wu Xing, Irina Zamulko, Suleyman Garayev and Vyacheslav Gavrilyuk were presented with a traditional audience-choice prize.

To crown it all, Ekaterina Druchik, Ekaterina Punko and Sergey Polyachuk entertained the audience with their performances which at the same time were a kind of a master-class for the contestants.

The winners awarding ceremony will be held during the Closing Ceremony in the Brest Youth Centre on April 10, 2013, at 19.15.
