Keeping peace and calm!

Mutual respect, friendship, and the ability to constructively resolve problematic situations have always been valued in Belarusian higher education institutions. Only peaceful dialogue is a guarantee of harmony and stability in society.

Throughout its history, institutions of higher education have served humane purposes, based on education and science for society, nation and state. It is very important to preserve this vector for all of us in the university and academic community.

Educational institutions are not objects of political disputes and disagreements. Our students should come to the classroom on September 1 and receive knowledge, as in previous years, in a peaceful and calm country. And parents should not worry about their life and health.

We note the importance of each employee and student of Belarusian universities and declare the need to create conditions for study and work, peaceful, constructive and creative dialogue within the legal framework.

Now it is very important for all of us to preserve peace and order in the state, the opportunity to live and work in peace, fulfilling the main mission - to provide decent education to our children. Open confrontation by force leads to destabilization of the situation, hard economic and social consequences for all citizens. Only a peaceful dialogue will lead to harmony and stability in society.

The main priority of the state youth policy is bringing up in young people love to their country and native land. Today it is extremely necessary for consolidation of the Belarusian society.
