“Youth and time: Feat in the name of the future”

In the run-up to a Great Victory day the open competition of patriotic song “Youth and time: Feat in the name of the future” took place. The best singers of the region gathered on May 6 in Youth Art Centre in order to compete for championship. The guys competed in three age categories first (from 6 to 11 years), second (from 12 to 17 years) and third (from 18 to 25 years) in two nominations: solo performance and ensembles of small forms. The organizers of the competition were Brest State A.S. Pushkin University, the Department of education of Brest regional Executive Committee and the main Directorate of ideological work, culture and youth Affairs of the Brest regional Executive Committee.

On the programme of the competition sounded well-known and beloved songs about the Motherland, peace, honoring the memory of the fallen in the Great Patriotic war heroes and Patriotic works of modern authors.

110 participants were named in the competitive programme: soloists, duos, trios and other ensembles. Top places were distributed as follows:
