Services
BrSU students are the medalists of the Republican University badminton Games
On May 20-23 City of Pinsk received the Republican University badminton Games that gathered the best sportsmen from Belarusian universities. Students from 15 universities took part in this competition. Brest State A.S. Pushkin University was represented by 3 students: Alena Dzyuba (The Faculty of Law), Mariana Verbitskaya and Eduard Molodkin (The Faculty of Physical education).
The University Games’ programme included contests in pair and single categories among men and women, and also mixed doubles.
On the first day women joined the battle in pair categories, where our students Alena Dzyuba and Mariana Verbitskaya won the bronze medals.
In singles, where you could observe many catching duels, Mariana Verbitskaya became the winner. Alena Dzyuba took the 5th place in this category. Eduard Molodkin won the bronze medal.
On the last day of the Games mixed doubles took place. Mariana Verbitskaya and Eduard Molodkin won the silver medals.
